Nathan Deal To Put Full Stop On Online Gambling In Georgia

Illegal online gambling dens are operating in the name of Internet cafes in Georgia, a state, where the law prohibits gambling. Enraged by these proliferating illegal online gambling dens, Georgia Governor Nathan Deal is ordering state authorities to eliminate any kind of gambling completely from the state even if its internet sweepstakes.
At present illegal online gambling has become popular in about 50 to 100 Internet sweepstakes parlors in Georgia, partly because of Deal's decision to veto a Senate bill forbidding internet sweepstakes. Deal vetoed the measure due to technical legal flaws. But, online gambling companies have answered back by stepping up their efforts to grab a larger share of the Georgia market.
Attorney General Sam Olens and Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Vernon Keenan are supporting Deal's efforts in putting a full stop on illegal online gambling, wherein winners get cash or merchandise prizes.
