Online gambling in the USA may soon see some legalization and regulation. The unnamed source has also let out that new legislation governing online gambling can be expected by the end of the year.
The unnamed source has also stated that there was a general feeling in the Congress to regulate the online gambling scene. As a part of this process, Republic Jon Kyl and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid are asking the Justice Department to stop the state efforts to legalize online gambling. Many states are trying to pass liberal online gambling laws which might be detrimental to the country. These new laws might cause problems for the federal laws and hence they are being stopped.
Reportedly even the corporate sector is interested in the legalization of online gambling so that there are changes in the current scene and this step will also help the industry in moving forward.
